![]() I would highly recommend this book to teen readers. The plot was unpredictable, and very entertaining. I liked the characters Brenda and Jorge, but didn’t like some of the main characters died in this book. ![]() I liked the first one more, but this book was also excellent. I enjoyed this book, almost as much as the first one. ![]() Some new characters are Brenda and Jorge, who they meet in The Scorch. ![]() Other characters from the first book, such as Ably and Chuck die in the first book. Some other characters from the first book are Teresa, Minho, and Newt. Thomas plays the main character, like in the first book. This book contains many characters from the first book, with a few extra ones, and a few gone from dying in the first book.
