![]() ![]() The second book in the series is once again a look at Amy Wu’s creativity. The book tells us how she still perseveres, does not give up and comes up with an idea to make the perfect dumplings. Amy can’t make dumplings as good as her parents or grandma. It is a family activity and all of them sit together to roll and fill the dumplings. ![]() Amy Wu is excited to make Bao (Chinese dumplings) along with her family. The first book is a look at perseverance in young kids. Besides the culture aspect the books are, in general, a good read for toddlers and kindergarteners alike. Though both of these are picture books and more suitable for younger kids, it still opened another culture for Sanaya to know a bit about. I came across the newly released Amy Wu and the Patchwork Dragon and from that book found about the previous book in the series Amu Wu and the perfect Bao. I like Amy Wu and the Patchwork Dragon because it teaches us to care more about what we feel right. I like Amy because she never gives up and comes up with ideas to achieve her goal.
